7 Reasons You Don’t Manifest Your Desires
Everyone has a goal, a desire, an ambition.
Whether it is one who wants to be financially successful or someone who wants to get rid of a chronic disease. Or maybe someone wants to have physical beauty while others wish to achieve spiritual enlightenment.
We all yearn for something but only the fortunate few can realise their ambition in life. Not all of us manifests our dreams.
Most people want to manifest but somehow stay with the knowledge that their dreams are beyond their reach.
Here are 7 reasons why most people don’t manifest their desires and how you can change it.
1. No will or determination to go for it
99% of unfulfilled desires comes down to a weak will power.
Without sufficient will power, we don’t have any desire or energy to seek out our manifestation.
The weaker your will, the farther you are from your goals.
This is why we must cultivate a sense of dedication, commitment or a vow to our desires.
When we really want something, we will go get it.
No mood, no storms, and no obstacles can make us waver from what we really want.
The average person lets people, moods, and circumstances decide their fate.
Train your will power. Then use it often.
Your confidence, persuasion, energy and enthusiasm will get a major boost from this alone.
By the force of your will power and perseverance, you can succeed in the most difficult turns in life.
There was once a dying man. He was determined to see his son before his death. His son was posted far away.
Through the will of his staying power he continues to live long enough to see his son, although the physicians had given up all hopes.
The moment he saw his son, his determination disappears and the man dies the next moment. It was only on the strength of the forceful mental prowess that he could linger on.
2. Set unrealistic goals
Our plans should be realistic. What does realistic mean?
It should stay in the realm of time, space, and agency.
Let’s say you want to manifest New York Time’s Square directly to the neighborhood of New Delhi.
Not possible because it violates time and space.
Or maybe you want the next modern war to be fought with swords.
It will not work in this age of science for it has no agency to act. Everyone is using firepower.
You want to be a millionaire in less than 6 months.
Has anyone, other than born in a family of riches, became a millionaire in 6 months without learning any skills whatsoever to be worthy of that title? The time is too short for it to be fulfilled.
If you set up unrealistic goals, it will lead to unfulfilled desires and then your confidence and volition becomes weak.
This also includes manifesting a dinosaur in your living room, creating a new planet, or have a relationship with who likes star wars, orange hair with one mole below the right eyelid, goes to casino on Tuesdays, etc.
A realistic goal is something that is deemed possible.
One good rule of thumb is that if you can see yourself performing it in your mind, then likely it’s a realistic goal.
3. You think manifestation is a miracle
The skill of manifesting your desires is a natural one that people have unconsciously used for centuries.
Like all sciences, we can learn it too.
It’s not a miracle but an operation of many things coming together at once.
When I see someone who thinks the Law of Attraction or Manifestation is a genie in a lamp, all hope is lost.
This person has no idea what he is doing and will grow to despise the whole art of manifestation.
And then this causes them to emit low vibrations and, in return, receive the same in kind.
These are the people who ‘believe‘ in the Law of Attraction but has yet to live it.
It’s not a miracle, one does not need to believe in its existence.
We have not created anything new but only rediscovered what we already know.
4. Too easily distracted
Almost daily we have brand new plans and ideas.
We have so many thoughts and desires to achieve in our life.
The problem with having too many ideas is that our desire becomes weak.
It’s as if we are building castle in the air that suddenly goes ‘poof’.
If we are too easily distracted, we don’t have the power to manifest our one true desire.
Our desires end up going ‘poof’ because the ideas are not backed up with will-power and energy.
So they are just empty thoughts. And empty thoughts don’t manifest.
One needs to have focus, focus, focus.
This means to have one true desire you want to manifest at a time.
And then double-down on your concentration. You will find that it comes quite faster.
5. Not willing to change
Sometimes you manifest as you are.
But many times, changing a part of your life requires you to change yourself.
This means you may need to get rid of certain behaviors and habits that don’t align with your desires.
It may also mean changing friends and associations.
Most importantly, you must change your beliefs so that you can do what you need to manifest.
Your manifestation may lead you to certain events where you must fail so that you develop a perspective or skill to overcome a weakness.
If you are undergoing your manifestation, stay on course and overcome any obstacles in your way. Take the challenge. It is all a means for your growth.
But if you are too stubborn to change, you will fall flat on the ground and your manifestation goes ‘poof’.
Though I don’t think your desire ever left you – only waiting. So now matter how long you are stuck, it will resume when you breakthrough your limitations.
“Set a goal So Big that you can’t achieve it until You grow into the person who can.”
6. Where is your Faith?
Once a manager ran out of food stock. He had in his school over 50 children of about 5 and 15 year old.
As a rule, the children ate their lunch at 11 a.m. But that day it was already 10:10 a.m.
The manager asked a saint how to face the situation. There’s no food stock. And there’s no arrangement.
So the saint said in reply: “Serve them lunch at 11 a.m.”
He told him not to worry and that the children will get their lunch at the appointed hour. After all, they must eat their lunch.
The manager went back. Now it’s 10:55 a.m. He rushes over to the saint once more and said, “Shall I ring the lunch bell? Shall I give the children empty plates?”
The saint said: “Do ring the bell at the appointed hour. Let the children eat.”
Puzzled, the manager was worked up. Exactly at 11 a.m., he rang the lunch bell. The children ran out from their rooms and converged in the dining hall.
Exactly at that time, a van fully stocked with food arrived. A certain gentlemen came out and said: “I had ordered lunch for 100 persons. Everyone had their lunch. So I thought that I should feed the children too.”
The saint let him feed the children. Then he spoke with the manager and asked him whether all the children had had their lunch. The manager said yes.
Saint: “Okay, good. You are relieved from duty today. For you do not seem to have any faith in God. When the children always get their lunch at 11 a.m., why was there such a worry?”
7. Less than pure intentions
Those with materialistic thinking can’t use manifestation to its fullest simply because they deny their own power.
Also, if you are using manifestation to get a desire that you don’t really want but feels compelled to have, then it’s not going to work.
You won’t have sufficient energy and drive to turn that desire into fruition.
Remember that in the Law of Attraction, we are drawn to those who are like ourselves.
So if one were to manifest with the heart of selfishness and greed, then he/she will attract those of unfortunate characters who will ruin one’s dreams.
Selfishness is defined as being only concerned with one’s own interest or benefits at the cost of others. You can help yourself as long as what you are doing also benefits others and humanity.
Keep your intentions pure like that of a child who dreams to be someone big someday. Have the vigor and excitement like the newfound love. Help yourself by helping others.
