What is it that you want? What is it that you really, really want?
The first and most important step in manifestation is to know exactly what you want.
It is your vision, your decision, your purpose.
When you are really clear on what you want, your mind knows the tools to make it happen.
It will set the direction for where you send your creative energy.
“The intensity of your desire governs the power with which the force is directed.” -John McDonald
How to Get Clear on What You Really Want
Do you know what you want?
For a lot of people, that’s a hard question to answer.
Because for the majority of people’s lives, they’ve been told what other people want.
It’s what the family wants, what the boss wants, what society wants.
But if you want to manifest your desires, then you have to focus on what you want.
It will have to be a desire without ties to what the world want from you.
Instead, let it be it from what You want from the world or what you want to see in the world.
You are the cause, not the effect. And you are the chooser, not the chosen. You are the creator, not the bystander.
And if you are not clear on what you want, then you can’t manifest it.
Because to create what you want, you need to become the creator.
As the saying goes, “Beggars can’t be choosers.”
To get clear, you NEED clarity.
Clarity has 3 components: The Desire, The Why, and The Fulfillment.
Desire is one of the core components to manifesting what you want.
For without desire, there is no creation.
Your desire has to be something that you deeply desire.
It is something you think when you wake up in the morning and right before bed.
Manifestation is like going to get a sandwich in the kitchen.
First, you have to believe you can make a sandwich.
Then you must have the desire to get out of bed to make that sandwich.
If you can’t walk, you might limp. If you can’t limp, you might crawl.
Whatever it is, your limitations will slow you down.
But if your desire is strong and it isn’t blocked by anything, it will pull the manifestation through.
You get your desires like you do with your sandwich.
How strong is your desire? How badly do you want it?
“When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” – Eric Thomas
Thus, we first have to find what it is that you deeply want.
Ask yourself this:
- “If you know you could not fail, what will you do?”
- “What is a dream you always have since you were a child?”
- “If you were to pretend that you can be anything, what would you be doing?”
Most of our reality and what is possible has been defined by society.
These questions get you out of the boxed mindset and engage your creative powers.
For it is the imagination that has the true power to accomplish anything, no matter how irrational and impossible it sounds.
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” – Albert Einstein
Your reasons for your desire will be your strengths.
The deeper it reaches your core, the better you are to push through to manifest your desires.
But why is our WHY so important?
It is because it is through your WHY’s that you give purpose in your life.
With this purpose, your subconscious mind has a reason to pursue it, to give you energy when needed.
A superficial desire – wanting something without knowing why – can’t satisfy within.
Because your deeper core doesn’t know why it should be satisfied.
Your desire is always deeper than it is.
For example, you don’t want money, it is the security or the lifestyle it provides.
You don’t want a relationship, it is the love or affection that you desire.
Every desire is instrumental to what you truly want.
Thus, you must approach your manifestation in that way.
The millionaire didn’t set out for money, he set out to be the best businessman the world has ever laid eyes on.
The successful artist didn’t set out for fame, he set out to be the king of his genre the world will remember.
When such purpose drives their manifestations, everything else becomes a byproduct of that life.
For it is only natural for the best businessman to have a lot of money and the sought out artist to be highly recognized.
To find your WHY for your desire, ask yourself, “Why do I want…(desire)?”
But that is not all because you must dig deep in the subconscious to find your true WHY.
Get a piece of paper and a pencil.
Relax and let your mind speak unfiltered.
Keep asking yourself in a trance-like manner either of these two questions:
- “For what purpose do I want…(desire)
- I want…(desire) for what purpose?”
Write down the answers starting from the bottom going up. Do it until you have 10 answers.
You may repeat the same words many times as you like.
You have 2 seconds to write down each answer.
This is because the faster you write down, the more your conscious mind won’t be able to keep up and forces the subconscious mind to take over (which is a little scary because you won’t be in control).
If someone were to watch you doing this, they should see you murmuring like a robot in a trance-like voo-doo scenario.
After you have written your answers, your intuition will tell you that one of them is your true purpose because it resonates with you more than any other.
When you think about your desire, does it fulfill you?
Fulfillment is the emotional aspect of your clarity.
Because you not only need to be clear in your mind, you have to be clear in your heart.
If you desire something that goes against your heart and being, you will be miserable even if you achieved your manifestation.
You won’t commit. And you won’t cherish.
There is nothing more powerful than the power of the heart.
“Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.” – John Heywood
You want to connect your desire with your heart so that love flows through, giving you permission to go for it.
Sometimes we close our hearts to what we truly want because we know it isn’t for us.
Always check back your desire and purpose with what your heart says.
But make sure you listen from your heart and not out of fear.
Fear stops you in your tracks. Love gives you a choice.
To do this, visualize your desire in a symbolic form and then bring it into your heart.
For example, manifesting a boat trip you symbolize a picture of a boat with balloons.
(This must be done after you know your WHY).
Then you place this picture of a boat & balloons (in your mind) and place it on your heart.
Visualize a door that opens the heart. Then focus on the heart until it warms.
This means that the heart has opened up to the symbol of your manifestation.
Of course, you can always listen to your heart as you think of your desire to find out if it resonates with your heart.
When you have clarity in desire, in mind, and in heart, you are close to manifesting what you really want.
Although the outside future may be hazy, have clarity within.
The world manifests from inside to the outside.
You don’t have to know exactly know what you will do tomorrow, you just need to have to be clear on what you want.
Because if you don’t, then your reality shifts and you lose it.
With your purpose and fulfillment, you have the strong foundations to manifest your desires against the woes of the world.
For only a definite resolution have the power to achieve your desires.
