When our days become weary, we feel as if some sort of emotional sickness is weighing us down.

How to Get Rid of Negative Energy
The truth is that negative energy cannot be destroyed or get rid of.
The law of conservation of energy states:
“energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only changed from one form into another or transferred from one object to another.”
Our world is created by the balance and the polarity of negative and positive energy bouncing back on each other.
For there is none without the other.
But we can transmute the negative energy into a positive energy, from pain to love.
This is about getting rid of negative energy to the core, to make it dissipate and become no more as it change into a loving form.
By changing our emotional self from negative to positive, we are healing ourselves to the core and allowing more love to flow inwards.
We can move forward with our life and become who we truly are.
What is Negative Energy and Positive Energy?
- Negative = fear
- Positive = love
Negative energy is the energies that drain the vitality out of you.
Positive energy is the energies that embrace the vitality within you.
Sometimes people project their own reactions to others and mistake that as a negative energy coming from someone else.
One can’t be reactive to someone and say that THAT person has negative energy.
But if it appears that you have been plagued by some kind of vibrational drainage, we can turn it around.
Where do Negative Energy come from?
Now most negative energy, as the cause, stays in the body after some horrible experiences.
And acts as a trigger for the present time.
So we should not be quick to believe that our recent experience is the cause of negative energy, but to look further into the real cause of it.
As we release the negative energy, healing the body, we will become more loving and move onto a new reality.
Negative energy is everywhere!
Our purpose should not be to walk around and destroying every negative energy we see, but to bring ourselves to the point where negative energies have no power to vibrationally influence you.
The 7 Step Process of Getting Rid of Negative Energy
1. Identify with your Higher Self
The quality of your Higher Self for this purpose is Love, because Love is the power to Heal.
By identifying with your Higher Self, you are attaining protection from what is to come.
The detachment and love of the Higher Self null the pain of the reactions for when you try to get rid of the negative energy.
Why is this necessary?
Because when you are really trying to get rid of negative energy, you might experience catharsis, emotionally painful state, and negative energy becoming more aggressive in staying.
It is like standing afloat while there is a tremor on the ground.
If you don’t want to use the word ‘Higher Self’, you can also identify with “Love” (which is the same thing).
2. Discern negative and positive energies
Our feelings, or feelers, are like an energy detection meters.
We can discern what is negative or positive energies depending on how we feel when interacting with that energy.
When we get into an argument, the end result is a bitter salty taste that leaves our mind and emotions drained.
First, become the observer and notice which people or environment has a negative effect on you.
Is this really something that is affecting me negatively? Is it coming from me or from them?
3. Find out why you feel negative and where it comes from.
Look at the most uncomfortable area in your life.
Think of someone or an event that gives chills down your spine.
For example, what emotions come up with you think of “relationships”, “money”, “family”, etc.?
If it is relationship, then whenever you hear of relationships or if your friend talks about relationships, it makes you feel down.
That is the area which you are uncomfortable talking with, uncomfortable sharing, uncomfortable believing.
Choose one area and focus on that. I recommend choosing the most uncomfortable experience first.
Then find out, or guess the best you can, the cause of where that sense of being uncomfortable comes from.
So as you sit there and think “social”, you may think about one particular person who has made it rough in your life.
That person or that particular event could be the cause of it.
As of right now, it doesn’t matter if you don’t know or is still hazy about where it comes from because you can get more clarity from the meditation on the next step.
4. Re-experience the horrifying event
Now that you have acknowledged the negative energy and can, at least, know where it comes from, go into the state of meditation.
Imagine standing before you the one event that gives you that negative energy and makes you shiver just by the sheer reminder of it.
Stay in this meditation until the experience has revealed itself to you.
Relive that experience in all its pain and glory. Allow it to happen without shutting your eyes or escaping.
If it appears too much, simply take a break and return back to it.
Have the courage and know that it is okay to be afraid, to feel the negativity, to shed a tear, etc.
We must re-experience it as it once was, but remember not to lose yourself in the process.
5. Accept that it happened and forgive yourself
As we are re-experiencing it in our meditation, in our mind, come to accept the event.
Forgive yourself for what you have done or what others have done to you.
Open yourself up, imagining a heart opening up, and allow yourself to accept it in all its entirety.
5. Release and let it go
Then, let it go.
Let everything go.
There is no use in holding onto it.
You have learned what is needed to be and why it happened and you accepted for what it is.
Once you let it go, you have a void in that area of your life.
The negative energy is gone, but what can replace it in its place?
This is where you invite Love to come in.
Feel love and allow it to flow into you.
Give yourself an inner smile to yourself.
Then let it be.
In short words: To get rid of negative energy is to bring love to your most uncomfortable past.
Although that sounds simple, the process itself may be an emotional roller coaster, especially step 4 and 5.
Depending on the strength of a negative energy, it may take more than one session.
It is always a good idea to not get back into the same routine or interact with the source of the negative energy a few days after healing yourself because you may still be vulnerable to the negative energy.
This 7 step process of getting rid of negative energy, or changing negative energy into positive energy, is one form of spiritual alchemy.
