Your intuition can help you and lead you to your fulfillment. It knows what you want and how to get it instantly.
It is your connection and your natural strength.
Learning to listen to your intuition is a matter of trusting your own instincts.
How many times do we had a hunch and then say “I wished I listened to my guts?”
Being in tune with your intuition will bring harmony into your life.
Lead with your intuition and life unfolds naturally.
What is Intuition?
According to Herbert Simon, P.H.D., as you accumulate knowledge, you unconsciously organize the information into chunks that stores in your subconscious mind.
A recognition of that information flashes before you instantly. This is your intuition.
But intuition does not only comes from the external environment you interact with. It also comes from the memory of your Higher Self or from the Universe.
This is why there are children born into this world who have already harnessed musical talent or why they have an inherent ability in recognizing moral behaviors.
Your intuition is your guide. Intuition is direct access to information without relying on our physical senses.
How to Listen to Your Intuition
The best way to listen to your intuition is for you to force yourself to restrict access to the senses you rely most on.
We are used to relying on our eyes and ears. Our reliance on sight and hearing blinds us from our own subtle powers.
There was a blind man by the name of Juan Ruiz of Los Angeles who learned from bats in using echolocation. He was blind with a strong sight.
He creates a sound, by clicking noises from his mouth, to detect objects in the environment and sensing echoes from those objects.
Our vision and hearing are reflected waves of energy.
Vision is reflected light waves bouncing from source into the environment and translated in our eyes.
Hearing comes from our auditory system and processes sound waves which bounces off from source into the environment and translated in our ear.
Our senses are merely translation of light and vibration. Intuition is the part of us that is translated directly from source and translated directly to our soul.
Thus, we are focusing on the part of us without the aid of our sight and hearing.
We force ourselves to have faith in our guesses. And this will open up your intuition to incredible accuracy.
1. Blindfold Technique
This is the technique that I personally use with extraordinary results.
When you cover your eyes, you are forced to use your other senses. In this case, listening and develop your intuition.
Be sure to be in a safe environment and have a watcher before you attempt to do so.
Take a clean piece of cloth and cover it over your eyes. Walk around while feeling the room.
See from your the abdomen area, or the Solar Plexus, instead of your brain. Pretend your eyes are your solar plexus and see through it there. You are seeing with your gut.
In the East, it is called seeing through the Lower Dan Tien.
How do you tell you are seeing through the Solar Plexus? When you see through the Solar Plexus, the sensation involves all parts of your body.
In our mind we usually see something in 2-dimension of awareness because it is from your head.
When you see through the Solar Plexus, your awareness is 3-dimension because you are getting information from all your nerves and your nerves become hyper-sensitive.
When you feel something, intuit the object in the room.
Is it the object that pops in your mind?
It will be easy at the beginning where you already know where the objects are until you feel something that doesn’t belong.
This is where the challenge appears and you must use your intuition instead.
Begin this practice from a location you are used to and then move on to an unknown place.
2. Listen to vibrations
Listening to the vibrations in nature is an exercise to strengthen your trust in your intuition.
Sit out in nature, morning at best. When you are out in nature, listen to all the sounds nature provides to you.
This includes the winds, the birds chirping, the doors crackling, the trees whistling, the ants moving, and the smallest spark of vibration that enters your field.
You may form a picture in your mind what the sounds look like. Call out your mind what the sound is.
At an advanced level, your mind forms a movie clip or a picture about that sound to show you the story whence it came.
For example, you hear a door creaks. Your mind forms a story of a man grabbing his screwdriver and opens the door. That is why the door creaks.
Listen to this intuition.
Have no doubt to the images or voice that pops in your mind at that sudden point.
Meditate to not only reduce stress and increase relaxation, but to develop your focus to listen to your intuition.
Meditate on being One with All. Being One with All means doing absolutely nothing – including movements, sounds and thoughts.
As you sit there and do nothing, you are able to hear the messages communicating to you when you ask a question.
You are in a place where there are no distractions and outside influences. Here is where you will know whether the message is from your intuition or if it was your own mind chattering.
Hear This Out
There are many ways to open up your intuition.
But the ways to open them up follows the same procedure: force yourself to rely on intuition with practice and trust.
